IdA's purpose is threefold:

  • To empower people with disabilities, their families, carers, guardians and support people through the provision of quality information, timely referral, support and advocacy
  • To positively influence government and non-government organisations at local, Territory and National levels on policy and service development agendas impacting on people with disability, their families, carers, guardians and support people
  • To work constructively and strategically with other agencies in raising awareness of and addressing the issues impacting people with disabilities in the Northern Territory.

Casual Admin Officer
(up to 15 hours a week)

Integrated disAbility Action (IdA) is the peak consumer organisation for Territorians with a disability. Our Mission is to empower people with disability, to improve the quality of their own lives.

We are looking for somebody with a strong background in Admin to provide support to our Executive Officer on a day to day basis. You will need to have good computer skills with myob experience, be able to work independently, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be flexible in your approach.

You will also need a current Working with Children card, NT Driving licence and Police Clearance. Hours to be negotiated.
This position is subject to ongoing funding and as such is offered on a casual basis.
