
Conference of States Parties (COSP) to the Convention on the Rights of persons with Disabilities: 14-16 June
From 14 to 16 June, five representatives from People with Disabilties Australia will be attending the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This is a global conference held by the United Nations each year to discuss the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (or CRPD). It is a significant event for human rights. PWDA will be attending along with Women with Disabilities Australia (WWDA), the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA), and the First Peoples Disability Network (FPDN).
