Helloooo! It’s me, Marcel the Shell, and I’ve got some super-duper exciting news to share with you wonderful people! Can you believe it? I’ll be gracing the BIG screen at the Deckchair Cinema Fundraiser, and I must insist that you join us for a truly shell-tastic evening of fun and generosity!

This paw-some event is organised by Integrated disAbility Action (IdA) to support their mission of championing disability human rights and promoting inclusion, equity, and accessibility. All the proceeds from this extraordinary night will go towards IdA’s excellent advocacy and program development efforts, launching in 2024!

Now, let me tell you why this Deckchair Cinema Fundraiser will be the bee’s knees, or should I say the shell’s…um, shell? Not only will you get to watch me, the one and only Marcel the Shell with Shoes on, light up the silver screen, but there will also be a delightful bake sale to satisfy your taste buds. But before filling up on sugar sweets, be sure to line up for dinner catered by Lucy’s Catering, who will be cooking up a storm with tasty meals that will make your tummy do a happy dance!

Oh, and did I mention there will be drinks available too? That’s right; a fully licensed bar will wait to quench your thirst and refresh you throughout the evening. Remember, my shell-shaped friends, to leave the alcohol at home and indulge responsibly at the venue. We wouldn’t want to hurt our friend’s feelings at Deckchair, after all!
