IdA welcomes Janet Wright as General Manager

Janet has returned to the Territory from South Australia after living here for 26 years. She emigrated from the United States in 1994 and became a citizen in 2004. She has a Business Management Degree from the University of Maryland, and several other qualifications from Accounting, HR, Social Services and Mental Health.

She worked several years on remote communities as a Financial Manager and then CEO, before returning back to Alice Springs to assist the Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA). She has extensive experience in assisting organisations to transition or achieve better outcomes.

Janet is a passionate advocate and was CEO of Disability Advocacy Service (DAS) in Alice Springs.

Janet enjoys painting, sewing and trail walking.
